Overview

Our company was hired to create two expansive panoramic environments for use in a LED wall studio, designed specifically for filming a trailer for the KCX4 League of Legends event at Paris La Défense Arena. We meticulously crafted these digital landscapes to capture the epic scale and dynamic atmosphere of the game, ensuring they seamlessly integrated with the live-action footage. Our team worked closely with the creative direction to ensure the environments not only enhanced the visual storytelling but also brought the thrilling energy of the League of Legends universe to life for the trailer.

Challenges & Approach

This production presented significant challenges, especially with a tight deadline of just four days from receiving the brief to delivering the final virtual sets. Designing large animated fantasy environments in such a short time required rapid turnaround and precise execution. Additionally, we had to balance the creative vision of the client with the constraints of time, ensuring that the designs not only met their expectations but also captured the essence of the League of Legends universe. The pressure of meeting the tight timeline while staying true to the client’s wishes pushed our team to deliver exceptional results under intense conditions.

The result

The result of this production was a visually striking trailer that transported the famous Karmine Corp Blue player Caliste directly into the heart of the League of Legends universe. The seamless integration of the virtual environments with live-action footage effectively conveyed the thrill and intensity of both the game and the upcoming event. The trailer captured the excitement of the League of Legends world, immersing viewers in a dynamic and captivating experience that heightened anticipation for the event.
